I had looked through a lot of videos to find these, probably the best 15 minutes you can spend, if you want to shoot accurately and fast. There’s a few guys faster than Rob, but that generally runs outside most peoples physical capabilities. Rob’s a proven winner and knows what he’s talking about. At my club we keep a supply of cheap paper plates that most of the instructors use for the basic self defense shooting classes. No dots or IDPA targets, eventually we move to black silhouettes so there’s no distinctive aim point. If you can keep your shots in a 10″ circle at 5 to 10 yards that’s generally all you need for good defensive shooting. Pulling the trigger without moving the gun is paramount to good, fast shooting.
