Can you? No… and yes. You can put a suppressor on any revolver you want. Just thread the barrel for the suppressor and screw it on. But it will only work if the barrel of your revolver has a seal with the forcing cone. If it does not, the hot gases will escape through the cylinder gap. A Smith and Wesson revolver like this one from Desperado will not work.
However, there are a couple of unique revolvers for which a suppressor will work. They are not commonly known, and the mechanics by which they accomplish the seal is very cool to me. If you are interested in unique firearms, this is a great article to check out from Guns.com
